I know others have pointed to the technical regs which are in
question, but does a) anyone understand section 3.10 and b) anyone
explain the semantics / interpretation element which is in dispute.
From the BBCs website, it simplified the rule saying the top must be a
single horizontal plane, and then draws a nice yellow line across the
top to show that Williams' isn't level. But I didn't read that in the
regs.

If they are exploiting the same 'loophole' every team used last year as
that article says, and the FIA failed to close it or warn teams not to
use it, then I'd say Brawn/Toyota/Williams have a good case for
expecting it to be allowed again.
The fact the other teams didn't go for this 'exploit' again does suggest
they did think it was a no-go this year though.
