further to the "most reliable engines" post, just wondering if anyone
knew the current status of engines for the remaining races? Ie the 2
consecutive races rule. Same for gear boxes (4 races).
And once we have that knowledge, any thoughts on if any driver has an
advantage?
Partly covered in my regular Engine Usage post.
New engines for Fuji (and Interlagos):
Räikkönen & Massa
Kubica
Alonso & Piquet
Webber
Trulli
Bourdais & Vettel
Button & Barrichello
Fisichella
New engine for Shanghai (and therefore an old one for Interlagos):
Heidfeld
Rosberg & Nakajima
Coulthard
Glock
Sutil
Hamilton & Kovalainen
However, Sutil could have a new engine for Fuji since he failed to finish
in Singapore.
Also, Heidfeld, Rosberg, Nakajima, Coulthard, Glock, Sutil & Hamilton
could opt for a 'joker' change for Fuji.
New 'boxes for Fuji:
Massa
Bourdais & Vettel
Hamilton
New boxes for Shanghai:
Heidfeld
Alonso
Nakajima
Webber
Sutil
New boxes for Interlagos:
Räikkönen
Kubica
Piquet
Coulthard
Trulli
Barrichello
Kovalainen
Drivers who failed to finish in Singapore can have new gearboxes for
Fuji if they wish:
Räikkönen
Piquet
Webber
Trulli
Barrichello
Sutil
