Even though you agree otherwise when you buy a ticket?
Don't see how, you can't just give away your rights like
that, and all they can really do is invalidate the ticket
if they catch you with a camera or try to prevent you
buying another one.
Where did you get this idea that you aren't allowed to take
pictures or film? Did you watch the GP at the weekend? There
were a few clues from the crowd in that respect.
You seem to be operating without any awareness of what it
does say.
Let me help.
"The use of photographic equipment is allowed for private
purposes only. All other recording and any transmission is
prohibited. As a condition of entry to the Event you assign
(by way of present assignment of future copyright) the
copyright in any photographs or recordings you make at the
Event to Formula One Administration Limited ("FOA") and
agree that any photographs or recordings you make shall not
be used for any form of public advertisement or display or
for any other purposes including without limit for display
on any internet site (except the private enjoyment of the
person making the film) without FOA's prior written
consent."
That is not enforceable. Any transfer of copyright has to be
explicit - i.e. for all practical purposes, in writing.
With all due respect you don't have much of a reputation for
accuracy in such respects.
That is an untested assertion by yourself.
On the contrary, your "facts" have often been shown to be merely
casual opinion on many occasions by a multitude including myself.
Well, let's take the present instance, shall we? What precisely are
you saying? That your knowledge of the Copyright, Designs and Patents
Act 1988 (as amended), s.90 (or s.91), and the provisions therein, is
in some way superior to mine? Or that my knowledge of it is deficient
in some way?
I thought it was clear. You claim opinion to be fact and your
interpretation of statute is not to be trusted.
IOW without specific references supporting your opinion, based on past
experience, I consider it worthless.
This is where you claim not to care what I think, despite evidence to
the contrary as above. ;)
