While I continue my search for a news source, I would like to
share one very good news source, for those who like to read
detail stories delivered to their mailbox, in offline mode
(and free too), HTML unfortunately, but very easy to convert
it into text, if you have a MDA:

Formula One:

Guranteed delivery of each and every news item, along with detail
transcripts. (Since 2005)

Open Wheelers
http://groups.google.ca/group/openwheelers

Includes A1, GP2 and WSR, is a brand new list, started based on
request by a die-hard, passionate, non-political motor sport fan
(hint: me)! Woo hoo!

And the mother of all:
http://groups.google.ca/group/allracing

Containing all motor sport news, should be of interest to sports
car friends here covering:

- American Le Mans Series
- Le Mans Series
- FIA GT Championship (GT1,2 &3)
- Grand-Am
- World Touring Car Championship
- British Touring Car Championship (has been promised)

The above list unfortuantely does not tag the messages like [a1gp],
[lemans], etc and that means you will have to read NASCAR, IRL mails
coming from it. If you don't use a MDA, be ready for some very heavy
traffic from this list and that horrible feeling of having 1000'+
unread emails in your Inbox.

About the guy who runs it, I don't know him/her by name, but have
been using this fine service since 2005. He is populary known as
"Almost Human", and also has additional nicks like "Housewives",
"All Hot models". And he just setup a new list based on my request,
so thats special!

There are other dedicated news lists for CCWS, IRL, NASCAR, and
also non motorsport events (including tennis, hockey, music,
television etc). which you can access from the list page.
