comprehend what I wrote, I'll rephrase it.

So, Given that "A F1" team may have got the "Full Wet" Email AFTER
the
start of the race, why couldn't they just get the benifit of doubt and
be allowed to rejoin in their grid positions? It's not like anyone was

I agree with that idea.

It will be very simple to find out if Ferrari received the email late.
Simply check McLaren's computers. They are very good at "collecting"
Ferrari data.

FIA seems a little surprised that only one team didn't get it, but
just in case a bell-boy will run down the pitlane next time shouting
"telegraph for Monsieur Todt". In the high tech world of F1, we're
