The government restricts the availability of all sorts of dangerous
things but there's no reason not to allow you to have a weaponless
F-5, provided you prove capable of flying it within the FAA rules. I
can't see them letting you run riot in the sky with a couple of live
Skywinders though - what would be the point? You have no legal way of
using them.
