Recently, we've had visitor from the UK in a local forum on one of the
local TV stations forum.
So all the locals have been chiming in with what British slang they knew.
One regulars came up "yankers".
She either took the translation too literally, or she subconciously came
up with a combined word to mean an American masturbator ;=)
Didn't she mean wanker?
