Man are you thick. There are several F1 newsgroups on Usenet, but there
are
only three in English that I'm aware of, including a moderated group.

Your reasoning is that of someone whose never taken a step outside of his
own
country before. Do you honestly believe that everyone in the world
communicates in English, especially F1 fans?

RASF1 is an English language newsgroup, as is
uk.sport.motorsports.formula1.

After that, a simple search using "F1" as a key will reveal numerous other
groups.

Wake up and stop being such an idiot.

Kinda odd how you have the same ISP, but different name, as the post I
replied to.

I never said that this group is the only F1 group on usenet, nor did I bring
up the subject of language. However, English is the standard language of
international aviation, for one. You can find this out when you travel from
your country to another by airline, be it the first time or what have you.
This group is the original usenet F1 group, and it is general and intended
so. While many other groups have sprouted up since this one was created, if
you talied up all the posters of all these F1 groups on usenet today in
whatever language and format, the sum is still nowhere near commensurate
with a sport that supposedly attracts 1 billion viewers per each race
according to your estimate. The 1 billion per event claim is pure hype.
Perhaps if you traveled to other parts of the world you'd understand.
