if you are a EU based company why bother with F1 if half the races are in
asia and therefore run during the night.
That's a good point as the sponsors really do have a bit of a challenge on
their hands. It's one thing to be a local sponsor at one event, but to be
one full time sure means you have to have an international product. Which of
course means only the big boys can benefit from it yet sometimes does it make
sense to spend money where there's no interest in what you're selling?
One of the reasons I don't Google and only Yahoo is because of their once
presence and even though they left, at least they tried. Not a good
example yet how many people in here actually bought an HP computer, a can of
Red Bull or whatever simply because of the F1 connection? I really don't
know if they are getting the bang for their buck.
i think bernie likes to keep people guessing for no other reason than it's
human nature to not want to loose something, even if it's a shadow of it's
former self.
It's still F1 and as long as it remains that way, Bernie will continue on
with ideas that somehow don't make sense yet fall into his mind as logic...
