It's very clever advertising.
We in NZ had a TV add for cars where everyone just said "Bugger ! " as
things went wrong.
But I think some yanks and poms might not get the jokeyness of it.

We got that Toyota ad over here in Aus as well, I don't see why the poms
wouldn't get it. But that Toyota ads intended audience was antipodeans and
not people from elsewhere so it worked. This tourism campaign naturally is
aimed at people outside the country where the tag line might be considered
abusive or offensive by some people or cultures, particularly people who
may not have come across Australian "culture" before.
