Mateschitz is a *very* rich man. And he's not paying huge amounts for
his drivers. $10m for a top-notch technical director who's likely to
be able to set the team on the right course for the future isn't all
that much, when his whole budget's probably up in the $300-400m region.

I reckon Adrian will stay with them maybe 3-5 years then finally retire;
long enough to build a "culture" there (something Jag never managed,
really), get the team near the front of the grid (of course, at some
point they'll need to ditch Ferrari engines because they'll *never* get
anything on a par with the works...) and then pootle off and design boats.

Newey has a Ford GT40 and several other interesting toys to play with -
Brawn and Byrne have some interesting classics too, IIRC.
