I know this, but the merger is not definitely going to happen. It hasn't been approved yet. I am currently an xm subscriber, so for the time being, I'd like to use it. we'll see what happens though.

Hello everyone. I just got my 2007 GLi a few months ago and it came with
Sirius satellite radio. I am an XM subscriber however. After a lot of
research and talking to the dealer, it appears that the XM receiver from a
VW earlier than 2007 can be simply swapped out. If anyone here is
interested in trading or even selling their XM unit, please PM or email
me. Thank you in advance. Below is the model number that is visible on the
Satellite receiver unit.
