I have 2 immediate problems to be repaired before it's ready to go.

1) There are no brake lights. The bulbs are good, the signal lights work as do the tail lights. I can't find a switch anywhere.

2) The clutch engages much too high for my comfort, within the top inch of the travel. I have adjusted the cable as far as I can at the transmission end with little results. Is there another adjustment elsewhere?

Unlike Detroit iron, the brake switch(es) are hydraulic and are
screwed into the Master Cylinder. Haynes will show that.
The switches are special as they operate the dash warning
light as well. You can reach the switches by removing the
front wheel.

But check Fuse #1 first. Change it even if it "looks" OK.
