Thanks Howard for the kind words, and I'm glad your '66 is fixed like new.
Yes, I hated to sell it, but the gas prices are high here, over $3.00 a gal,
but that's not the killer, it's the auto insurance for a teen, and to insure
three cars compared to two. I can put my son on hold (stand-by) while he
attends Stanford Univ., and save $800 a year, plus eliminating a car to
insure takes the price way down.
I'm also a cyclist, so I will commute by bicycle in the future. No car, but
also no DMV, no gas, no insurance, no registration fees, and no smog.
