Have been reading at different places that if you replace the
compressor you need to flush out the A/C lines?? Any help on if this
needs to be done on a 1990. Also, does the compressor have its own
oil or does it run off of the oil in the system?? it is a Denso TV
series and not sure where the oil goes and what kind. Thanks.
Flush is not a bad idea as an oil change is probably required. Oil is
specific to A/C and even specific to the gas used.
Also if its old gas you may need to convert to the new which requires a
different oil. Can't remember the types but changeover will definate require
a flush.
