Re: CD Player Question (problem resolved)

I followed Igadbois's advice. I pulled the CD from the car and took it
apart.
Not too bad a job if you take your time. Removing the circuit board with
those tiny connectors was my biggest problem.
I was able to get to the laser lens to clean it. It was not a easy, direct
access. I had bend the q-tip to reach it. I did not lubricated (didn't
look like it needed it - also didn't know what to lubricate with),

Re-assembly went smooth. It took a couple of tries to remount the CD player
into the car.
There was a wire in the back that I had to move out of the way.

Amazingly, everything is back together and working!
