No seeming to be the case in my situation. I am more likely to buy into the
idea that the Mazda CD player is more sensitive to the quality of CD-R disc.
Once again, my factory discs will play without a single problem, the burned
discs consistently skip. I have experimented with this quite a bit and it
really just comes down to that. I can live with it. I didn't buy my Miata to
listen to CDs.
