I can't answer your question, but I have never been very happy with the
cruise on my 97 civic. It doesn't hold the speed nearly as constant
other cars I have driven like our 03 accord. Seems like it is just way
too slow adjusting the throttle. When releasing the gas after engaging
the cruise (or just speeding up to pass someone) the speed will usually
drop 3-5 mph below the set point before it finally gives it some gas to
get back up to the set speed.
