Suggest that you screw a manual oil pressure gauge into the block in place
of the electrical pressure sensor and actually see what oil pressure you are
getting at idle and as you increase RPMs. Sounds like it could be a weak
oil pump or a dirty oil pickup that is reducing pressure. Without knowing
your year, make, model, engine, and the mileage, you probably will not get
much more useful information here.
