Go ahead and try it. I eagerly await your tale of how it turns out.

You would be causing an avoidable accident. I'm not saying the other
driver is blameless, but go ahead and find out for yourself what kind of
shit you'll get yourself into.

I've stopped many a left turning conga-line. If I have a green signal I
go. Not that I blindly go causing a collision, but I go and if I have
sound the horn I do so. I am not going to sit there meekly waiting when I
have right of way. Right of way has to be defended or someone will take
it from you.

Anyway, it's a matter of situational awareness and timing of the
acceleration and occasionally braking to avoid a collision yet stop the
conga line.

Sure a cop might have a problem with me, cops tend to expect me to roll over
to any aggression, they don't want regular people standing up for
themselves. After all, they need job security. In any case he can't cite
me for anything because I have right of way and the other driver doesn't.
So long as I don't plow into them on purpose (I like my cars and my
bicycle too much to ever even let it happen accidentally) and he can prove
it, there isn't a damn thing he can do (legally).

But anyway, the person you are responding too wonders what would happen
if there is a collision. Say the magic words. 'I didn't see him' followed
by that the light was green, he had right of way and this guy came out of
the blue turning left into his path....
