Yesterday I was 5th in line behind a vehicle traveling at speeds that

Oncoming traffic prevented me from passing the 5 in front of me and
there was too little space to pick them off one by one. The vehicle
immediately behind the slow mover had many opportunities to pass but did
not take advantage. We traveled this way for 8-1/2 miles with a large
back-up accumulating, about 35-40 vehicles, until the snail turned off.
I thought that I recognized the vehicle so I followed and sure enough,
it was the same elderly lady that I had encountered previously who had
her license revoked several years ago. I called the Sheriff¹s Patrol and
got a car there shortly. The lady has Alzheimer¹s and her caretaker
seems to be doing a poor job. How does she keep a car? Can¹t the keys be
secured? Who has to die before authorities will take action?
Where in the world does this woman live? Perhaps there are some legal
avenues to take in order to get her off the road, but that's a long shot
and it definitely depends on the law where she lives.
