It refers to someone looking for an emotional response because they get
off on it, amused by it whatever. And it is quite appropiate given your

As far as killfiles go, I went years without using one. Then some I just
didn't want to hear from any more. Occasionally seeing something because
someone else replied to it is quite common and noting why in a reply is
also common. If it is no longer common practice, then I'll change, but
last I knew it was.
