OK. Well, I'd like to buy a decent scope for bench work on mostly AM
radios, occasional SW radios (HF). Something I can learn more with but
won't break the bank. These seem to be kinda cheap (used) but I don't know
what's best.

If you only need a 50MHz scope the 2225 would be fine.
If you want to look at signals 10 MHz and down a 50 MHz scope will be
fine. You want _five times_ the bandwidth of the highest signal of
interest in a scope.
But if you are buying such a Tek scope don't pay much for one. They
are all on borrowed time as there are no more of many parts. Neither
Tek nor anyone else will make more.
