Are you sure that if Andre, and perhaps myself, left this group that
Henry would even want to come back? IIRC it wasn't because of Andre
that Henry left this group, but rather that it was because of problems
in Henry's personal life that he left the group. I think we actually
have Andre to thank for Henry's occasional appearance here, as Henry is
obsessed with lurking here to see what Andre is saying, if Andre left
then we might never hear from Henry again. >

At one stage, Henry gave me to understand that he wished to return
to this group. I thought this would be good for the group as a whole.
He is an educated man of considerable expertise, and if some way
could be found to poor a little oil on troubled waters, then it seemed
to me that his presence here would be a positive thing.

Please understand, I don't want anyone to leave. Quite the reverse.
I want this excellent group to be in harmony, and attract new
people and even maybe attract some of the old members back.
I know many still lurk - they send e-mails about topics we
are discussing right now:-) Some people are not equipped for
the rough and tumble of Usenet.

You probably know that RAT has a very poor reputation:-(

Do you have any reason to
believe that Henry would actually like to return as an active
participant, if only Andre were banned?

The very idea that Andre should be "banned" had not even entered
my head. It is too ridiculous for words:-)
