The Brook 2A3 amp is a good one to copy

For simplicity and general hard to go wrong sound this amplifier,
which combines the 2A3 triode with legitimate design-push-pull output
and reasonable NFB-is a good choice for a kit producer or even the
DIYer who can find the opt and driver choke.
