I'm not sure whether it belonged to a guitar player or not. There are a
pair of these things, bought by a friend at a grage sale here in Ottawa,
Canada. The fact that there are a pair made me wonder if these were a clone
of some commercial design. It seems to me that if someone wanted just to
try out a concept, they would build one unit first, rather than a pair.
