An Aimless Life

Hi RATs!

Some folks think if they can get everybody to buy into their version
of "Some Explanation of Everything" all will be well.

This is sometimes called: "The Holy SEE".

It does not require any further thought. People with brains keep
thinking, anyway. If the SEE types are in season in your neighborhood,
you will just be guilty of poor belief, if you have any friends, or be
an Infidel, if you are a stranger, or just plain unpopular.

Belief is not what we need. Understanding this here and now can be
used to feed and shelter people. Wealth is not the same trip as trying
to feed and house yourself and your family. The Nazi guys who got to
rape all the Jewish chicks they could were not exactly great lovers. I
am not trying to be Geghis Khan if I buy my wife her medicines.

Understanding the afterlife is the real deal is just trying to get
everybody here to say *** it. Many do. Some without any input from
any true believers ;)

Clarity of purpose is often just the opposite of what is being
proposed.

It's OK. We have been arguing about how to be the best human you can
be, forever. We even have wars and everything. Nobody ever finds out.
Some pick up an old story and try and make it live again. It doesn't,
but it passes the time ... between wars.

Every organized religion on Earth has been left out of some wars. None
has skipped them all. I wonder why?
