Very busy with orders until february next year.

So, your lab is keeping you busy still. Great to hear!!!

Riding road bicycle again, lost 2 stone in last 12 mths,

Fantastic!

But the last pic I saw of you, you had barely 2 stone to lose?

I'm 6"2.5", and hiding 2 stone was easy.
That suit I put on for the photo was TIIIIIIIIGHT around the arse,
because its 30 years old.
Not now, the suit fits well because I am back to being 30.
It only took 6 mths to get that weight off, and put muscle back on.
I gave up cycling 300km a week in 1993 for 14 years and slowly but
surely
gained too much weigh, especially over the last 6 years with PCs and
being sedentary. I got heavy without realizing how much.

Knees which were a huge problem preventing exercize seemed to take
the new workload again OK.
If my knees stuff up again, I might get kayak, and paddle around the
local lakes for
8 hours a week.
I really hate going to gyms, they are not very nice places.

I must keep eating sea trout more often because the fish oil is genuine,
not like the crap capsules with fake oil in health stores.

I found I could loose 1KG a week with 150kms of riding
at levels where you really don't want to chat with anyone.
I quite prefer being alone with nature on every ride,
and we have hundreds of kilometres of dedicated cycling paths here
so roads and cars don't bother me.
The diet was changed slightly to lots and lots of food.
Piles, heaps, and then more.

But no chocolate, less carbohydrates, and truckloads of fruits and
vegetables.

But then again I have always viewed 95% of what is available in
supermarkets as poisenous.

Never ever buy ANY processed food with a plastic wrapper. 95% has had
the goodness removed, and crap put in.

Once you have a calorie deficit going, the energy must come from
somewhere,
so you train your body to draw from its stores. If you are heavy, the
body doesn't mind
that at all, but as ideal weight is approached,
which is about 15% less for most ppl in Oz, US, UK and elsewhere
with absurd eating/energy habits, reducing gets more difficult,
and you get hungry more often, and the body gets far more efficient
about using the food and storing it.
So you have to accept exercize forever.

Last year at 95Kg, I broke a few spokes during the first 6 months, then
none since Xmax.

I think I am being very moderate, and am not like the freaks like Miguel
Indurain and Lance Armstrong.
Those guys only had to think about exercise and they lost weight, and
went faster.
I have always done everything the hard way. And will they be around at
60?

And always you must deplore bad habits of eating more than can be used.
Of course frugality is deplored by wives, so i don't have one of those
either.
I also get buy on far less income than most, and my debt levels are way
below average.

Its totally useless talking about this to all my heavy friends.
They just iz wot they iz, and accept it.
Some easily beat me at chess....

Keep well.

Patrick Turner.

I take no *** from anyone as usual.

Be careful using that word "old" :-)

LOL! Still the same fire in you!

Cheers!
