Try the 6BA6 / 5749. These are very similar except use .3 amp filament
current (.15 for 6BJ6), and pins 2, and 7 are swapped. Since these are G3,
and K, they are likely wired together at the socket anyway, so if your use
has paralleled filaments, and pins 2, and 7 are connected at the socket, a
6BA6/5749 is a good substitute. They are both remote cutoff pentodes, and
are dirt cheap.

Some references on the web (TubeMuseum.com) say 6BJ6 or
CV522 could be used but I can't find those either at common audio
tube sites ( TubeDepot, TubesandMore ).
Any suggestions ?
