Hi,
Can suggestions be made for reading material for an absolute beginner who want to learn how to design tube amps. Should I, perhpas, read basic books on electronics first and then advance to tube books? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
The way you worded your question makes it sound like you've never taken courses in electronics at all. I.e., DC and AC electronics. If that's the case, you definitely need to start there. On the AC side, make sure you get chokes and transformers.
