Re: Byrns & Jute Plagiarize Magnequest Designs?

How do you know what we are discussing here? What we are discussing is a
secret, a secret unknown to you, which is a good thing.

Don't like it when you are the one spinning do you? Usually it is you
trying to spin others. As noted, you cannot have it both ways. I
actually could care less what 'secret' Mr. McCoy has over you. That he
has it is enough. And as a result of it, it reduces your credibility to
nothing and makes your defense of him pathetic.

That he *must* use you as his apologist rather than rely on his actual
skills... again many better-skilled than I have exposed and illustrated
those shortcomings... is equally pathetic. But he has always been that
way in my limited experience. You have not. Well, false godlets have
always been very hard on their acolytes when they fall from the
firmament. Lots of collateral damage.

Well, some factual evidence in your blind defense of Mr. McCoy and his
assertions that are independently verifiable would be fascinating.
Somehow, I do not think that will be forthcoming...

I have already provided the proof, it is on the Magnequest web pages for
all to see. My whole point with this thread was to demonstrate that Andre
was being criticized for using design elements, specifically rectifier
ballast resistors and filament dropping resistors, that are commonly used
by other Audiophile designers without criticizm. I have demonstrated that
with the Magnequest web pages, anyone that is interested can simply go to
the Magnequest web pages and see for themselves. As far as I can tell the
matter is settled, I have provided the proof of my assertion and I am
asking you for no proof, positive or negative relative to these techniques
that Andre has been criticized for using.

You are telling me that the purported kiddie-porn incident is on the
Magnequest web pages? Really? Where?

And if you are referring the 'design elements', they were certainly not
used in a similar manner to Mr. McCoy's abortion. A Trabant is a car. A
Chevy Impala is a car. Both have four wheels, an engine, a steering
system, brakes and so forth. They all contain similar "elements". But
they ain't nohow the same thing. So, if a Trabant is above criticism
because it uses the same 'elements' as the Chevy, then I would be
forced to admit that Mr. McCoy's design is similarly above criticism.
OK? Does that satisfy your need to vindicate him?

That is not to say that I am not asking for proof of certain other claims
you have made, which really aren't relevant to Andre's designs, but there
are other threads for pursuing those matters. As far as I am concerned
the matter of Andre's design techniques is settled for now, although you
may feel free to further pursue what it is that Andre holds over me, if
you should be so inclined.

John, I have infinitely better things to do than pursue any such 'hold'
as Mr. McCoy might have over you or anyone else. But at this point, it
is not just McCoy that would have me running to the window were he to
write that the sun is up in Wyncote. You have now earned that
distinction. Not that you will lose any sleep over it (or at least I
hope not).
