Come ON, John....

Show me any commercially-produced circuit with anything approaching
that much resistance (if any at all) on the B+ side _ahead_ of the
rectifier tube. And whilst you are at it, please explain the reasons
for all 660 ohms vs. a lower secondary voltage?

Or are your Master's nits not to be picked?
