That's very true - but the ultimate *performance* is inferior to any
decent commercial 60-watt SS amp. I guess it depends what you want
from your hi-fi system.

I would be interested how you can pass judgement on an amplifier
without seeing its specification or hearing it. Quite a gift:-)

But then I am reminded that you are the man who thought the Radford
STA100 was a "beefed up" (your term) STA25. This tells me how
little you know about valve audio.

So sorry that I can't instantly recall all the details of forty-year
