Your current theory on Andre may be wrong Mark.

But yes, the man does have a sense of humour and of irony.

And sure, Andre has his ups and downs, and that is human,
and most of us with 1/2 a brain can handle that if we have any capacity
for compassion.

But alas Allison has shown a marked mental decline over the last 3
years.


If you go back to when he started at aus.hi-fi he was a stickler for
net etiquette, and for sticking to the facts and truth.
We could almost like him for being harsh to those who did turn up
at aus.hi-fi with ideas about speakers and amplifiers that were merely
veiled
attempts to promote products being sold, Vafiadis and Wilson were to
prime targets
for Phil to aim at, and targets who really were not technically
literate.
But Allison began to aim at everyone, even when they didn't deserve it.
Remember when he bailed everyone up with a list of 10 debating rulles we
must not
transgress?
But now he disobeys all the rules he tried to enforce, and lies
pathologically about phone calls etc.
He shows almost zero humour.
Compassion is an emotion that Allison is quite incapable of, one of many
actually...

Only about 5% of anything Phil Allison types is about electronics; 95%
is sheer unadulterated bull***.
And when he does post anything about electronics, it is usually a very
insubstantial post,
and stated in a fashion that lacks detail; you would like to read a
better explanation,
but you know he doesn't like to really explain anything, unless it is to
belittle someone personally,
he likes seeing people squirm in pain as he force feeds them a ***
sandwich,
and so he seems quite washed out.

Allison doesn't like going down, but that's where he is going mentally.
While he doesn't like it he's making sure he's as big an arsole as
possible.
Its a slow process; he will slowly decline over the coming years.
He is quite egyptian about what he is going through, ie, in denial.....

In any other real world forum, he would have been carried out
to the door and thrown to the gutter where he belongs.

Just imagine Phil in the pub;
He'd have a broken nose after 2 beers.
