I use a Global Specialties Variable A/C Power Supply model # 1504. It
provides 0-150 VAC @ 4A.
It also has a digital meter for monitoring current draw and voltage.
This is perfect for working with tube gear. You can reform caps and keep an
eye on current draw. The current meter is really helpful in alerting you to
a problem.
It costs a few bucks new but is well worth it. It also provides the
isolation you seek.
