Re: Record Streaming Audio

I would like to know how to record streaming audio from the Internet as
well as record cassette tapes and LP albums. What software would you
recommend to accomplishe these tasks?
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
1) Your sound card (or equivalent) may have a built-in
function called "Record what you hear" or equivalent.
If you have that, you can record anything that is playing
on your computer (as the name implies).
2) If you don't have that feature, you can use one of the
software applications that implements this feature. My
favorite is "Total Recorder", a great deal for $12US
at http://www.highcriteria.com
.
