There's a lot of stuff going on here. First of all, there is the whole
notion of mounting a speaker on a wall boundary, which has some good points
and bad points but mostly bad ones where low end control is concerned.

Secondly there is the notion of using a dsp crossover, which is a reasonable
idea and a lot of active speakers are now doing that although they may not
advertise it. Meyer was doing it more than a decade ago.

Thirdly is the notion of beam-forming to change the speaker pattern. This
really isn't useful at _all_ with this speaker since there's only one
tweeter.... all you can do is steer the midrange and bass, you can't control
the high frequencies which is really most of what you care about controlling
anyway. In general, speakers have lousy patterns. Speakers on boundaries
tend to have even lousier patterns. "Vector control" steering will tend to
change the pattern but not improve it.

Fourthly is the notion of routing audio around on IP networks, which I think
is really a terrible, terrible idea. It works, but that's the best thing you
can say about it.

So, I wouldn't call this snake oil... but it's silly and not very useful
gimmickry. I would not be surprised to find out that this speaker really
did what they claimed. I would, however, be surprised to find that it sounded
good.
