I looked at Steinberg but wasn't sure which of their software would

Looked like either Nuendo or Wavelab would do the trick.
I also looked at Cakewalk and thought perhaps Sonar Producer would do
what I need.
Could you recommend either? I really don't care how much the software
costs.

If audio-only Sony Vegas - you can do it all from the same timeline direct
toa DOA CD. A tracka t a time would be a more sensible workflow, but you
*could* do all 15 tracks at once !
