I live in one of the most rural counties of England (Wiltshire) and local expertise is few and far between. However I did manage to get advice from a local retailer who sells PA kit and from an experienced user of PA kit. Both recommended stereo 200W speakers, with separate amp and separate mixer.
That's because they had something to sell. ;)
What you have should be adequate. All you need to do is get the levels matched correctly. It's possible, too, that your wireless receiver is defective, and it's not really putting out -10 dBV when it's supposed to. That's where you need the help of someone who can actually make some measurements, or take your chances and return it to the A-T rep in your country for repair or replacement.
You've already established that you can get adequate level with your MP3 player connected, and the A-T receiver should give you comparable output if the transmitter gain is set up properly. Have you checked that yet? When you talk loudly, but not yelling so that you don't need the speaker, can my make the "peak" (or overload, whatever it's called) light on the receiver flash?
