Hi All:
I have a Heathkit IG-1272 that uses 3 incandescent lamps in the feedback
loop
of the oscillator. One of the lamps has a broken lead and needs replaced.
Does anyone know what type lamp this is? It's bigger than a "grain of wheat"
lamp. More like a "grain of corn" Or better yet anyone have a manual on
this?
BAMA, the Boatanchors Manual Archive, should have an IG-1272 manual.
bama.sbc.edu. Sadly they use a weird DjVu format, but readers are available.
Manuals and parts should be available from www.myheathkits.com.
Getting the original lamp number is critical.... once you have a number,
you can probably get an equivalent from Chicago Miniature Lamps, but
the application is a lot more critical than just a panel indicator bulb.
