This MAY work, depending on what Samplitude is looking for on the
floppy.
Use Wordpad to create a text file on your desktop named drivea.bat
The contents should be:
subst a: c:\drivea
Create a folder in drive C of your computer called drivea.
Go to a computer with a floppy drive. Make sure it is set to display
System Files and Hidden Files. Copy the contents on some convenient
medium to c:/drivea on your computer.
Double-click drivea.bat on your desktop.
If that doesn't work, buy an external USB floppy. The one I have here
installs as drive A:
