samplitude installation problem

hello, I'm trying to load my old samplitude 24\96 circa 1999 onto my laptop. the program has an installation cd, and also a floppy that needs to be inserted during the process. well as the laptop does not have a floppy A: drive, I have copied the entire contents of the floppy to an SD card but no luck. any ideas? thanks in advance, greg
