Re: Frako Capacitors for a Studer B67

Apologies, I'm an idiot - I had intended to give the specification but
I seem to have forgotten...

They are 4700 uF, 40v. ELN4700-40(105) is the part number. They're
large - maybe 400mm height and 300 in diameter.

I am told that these are concerned with the main power input to the
machine (I think - I know very, very little about electronics).

Thanks

Graeme

Can anyone tell me of a modern component with an equivalent rating and
lead position for a simple replacement? Or perhaps someone knows of a
source where I can obtain four of these capacitors?

There are hundreds of caps in those things. Which ones are you referring
to, and what values and voltages are they?
