They don't do SR, they mix the show. I've heard it done well, I
usually hear it done adequately, occasionally I hear it done really
badly. The advantage is the singers can act rather than merely
project, and you have a chance of hearing every word (which, let's
admit it, wasn't always the case in the old days.) We all know the
downside.
Anyway, that isn't the point. We're not calling the shots.
