The Isomax 2H isn't exactly a cheapie.
Mine sound very clean in the studio even with the input gain at max.
The 835a seems to be discontinued.
I havent been impressed with any of ATs PRO mics.
There is a PRO7 in one of my mic cases for use when it might get wet,
blown
up, or used by a DJ.
For me to shell out Isomax 2H kind of money I would need a guarantee that
it will never get wet, never get blown up
and will get used by the Pope.
