i have aquired a pair of Countryman hanging type choirDon't buy Countryman's. They are not for quality. They are designed to
be very small and non-intrusive. They have quite a bit of hiss in them.
I bought some a few years ago. They were so noisey I sent them back.
got Audio Technica 853a's to replace them.Max

How are your AT 853a's?
Have you tried the AT pro45?
TIA
The Isomax 2H isn't exactly a cheapie.
Mine sound very clean in the studio even with the input gain at max.
The 835a seems to be discontinued.
I havent been impressed with any of ATs PRO mics.
There is a PRO7 in one of my mic cases for use when it might get wet, blown
up, or used by a DJ.
