Roland digital piano output to computer sound card

Everyone:
I have a Roland MP-300 digital piano (circa 2000), although the
specific model may not even make a real difference. What I need to
know is:
I want to record piano performances from my digital piano (Roland
MP-300) into Cakewalk or other music editing software via my
Revolution 7.1 sound card. My questions are probably very elementary,
but they are beyond my current understanding.:
1) My MP-300 has both MIDI input/out ports, and audio input/output
jacks. Which should I use if sending output to a computer soundcard?
2) My couputer soundcard, Revolution 7.1, has a bunch of jacks on my
CPU, which are shown on the specifications, but I'm not sure which of
them should receive the input from the MP-300.
3) After I answer #1 question and #2 question above, how do I describe
the cable I'll need, when I go to Radio Shack to buy it?
I don't know why it is so hard to find answers or how-to information,
but I'm getting really frustrated and am on the verge of giving up my
project entirely.
Some advice would be appreciated!
TIA
Regina
