Something a little different to hear

I'm only bothering mentioning this here because of the technique I
stumbled on to get more interesting sounds from my acoustic
guitar .Otherwise , I'm not even that good a guitarist, and I only
*** around recording once or twice a year. This piece is ALL acoustic
guitar, but I used delay fx to generate 'resonance tracks' that add
hums and feedback to the mix (oh , and bass depth). Using the original
stereo l&r tracks, I processed each one separately through multiple
iterations of delay, tweaking the wet/dry mix , to make tracks that
were mutated all the way into noise (echo/feedback) .
This guitar tune (Lowden S-32 , tuned down 1/2 step) for reasons not
understood , has a sort of sweet spot , where, at 23ms delay ,
the resonance jumps up and is in tune with the tune , so that's
where I worked from mostly. So I add these resonance tracks back into
the mix with the solo acoustic track, and that sounds ok but it needs
more beef. I recorded a few single bass string notes , tweaked them
similarly , and patiently added them back one by one at the chord
changes . I did this in Cakewalk , with the main tracks continuing
along the length of the view, and the bass notes as short bits in
their own tracks , so I got like , 20 audio tracks that way with my
tiny 500mhz computer.
Chain : Lowden, Oktava small diaphragm condenser mics, Symmetrix sx202
preamp, M-Audio 24-96 card , Soundforge fx.
The tune is 'Part 2 0f 3 : Integration' . at

There's another one 'Resonant Spirits' that takes part of the above,
reverses it, and adds lead in and lead out parts. Other than the
couple other solo acoustic pieces, the rest is electronic noodling
with Arp X-8 , no edtiting orv sequencing , nothing that would really
pass as serious recording. But of that , I guess 'Funky Other Thing,
Syncopation Saturation,
Ocean, The Herald Circuits Sing , are decent . Some of these are
arp experiments mangled all the way to noise by methods described
above. But it's Part 2 of 3 that is noteworthy I think .
