Re: crackling sounds when changing volume

This doesn't have anything to do with recording or professional audio,
but I figured this group would know it better.

I have an Audigy 2 sound card hooked up to Logitech Z560 speakers. I
honestly can't remember when it started happening, and I've had the
speakers for 5 years. Whenever I'm changing the volume, I hear some
really ear-hurting, crackling sounds on my right satellite.

Any possible solutions ?

Replace the volume control pot.
