Re: Uli Behringer responds to those "rip off" claims

Graham,

I think that you are on the complete opposite end of the spectrum from
most Behringer buyers. I understand why you want service manuals,
because they are useful to you. But most of us are not going to be
doing any of our own repairs on products as inexpensive as Behringer.

That said, I can't buy that Behringer offers the best customer support
in the industry. Maybe they have improved, and that is a good thing.
And a lot of other companies have gotten worse. But best? It's a
subjective opinion, but I wouldn't call them the best.

And while I own a couple of Behringer products, I still don't think
their quality control is good enough. Even inexpensive products can
and should have low failure rates, and many of theirs do not.

But for me, sometimes the bottom line is simply price. I'm no longer a
pro, and am now simply a hobbyist. I don't make much money on the
equipment I buy, and I don't depend on it to be foolproof. So for
people like me Behringer fills a real need.

The usual lies to be expected from George.

Why exactly is it that the Behringer fans feel compelled to lie to make
Behringer's products appear acceptable.
